Billions of people worldwide still lack access to sustainable solid waste management systems. With continued urbanisation, there is a growing need to address the growing issues of solid waste. Open dumping and burning of garbage also pose environmental and public health hazards, compromising air quality, as well as contaminating soil and groundwater. Through our projects, we aim to make the waste management system climate resilient and provide skills and capacity-building to unemployed youth and deliver environmental awareness campaigns.
